Sweet and Short Reviews: Dolittle

Welcome to my Sweet and Short Reviews blog! This blog is all about reviewing my favorite movies, music, and whatever really. While keeping the reviews sweet and short. We all got things we need to do, right? I most definitely appreciate you reading this blog, and I hope you enjoy the review.

This new take on Dr. Dolittle all starts when Tommy Stubins (Harry Collett) accidentally shoots a pretty hilarious squirrel (Craig Robinson). Dolittle’s bird friend Poly leads Tommy to Dolittle’s home. When they arrive, Dolittle (Robert Downey Jr.) is not looking so good. He pretty much looks like a homeless person.

At the same time, the Queen also sends for Dolittle’s help. The Queen has fallen ill and requests Dolittle’s help. Unfortunately for Dolittle, he will lose his home if the Queen’s health goes. Dr. Dolittle and his new apprentice Tommy, along with some of Dolittle’s animal friends, embark on an exciting adventure.

Pretty much all the other reviews on Dolittle I could find were all negative. I have to disagree with those reviews and say that I think this movie did what it set out to do. Which was to be a funny and entertaining kid movie. In my opinion I think it was just that.

Dolittle is a worthy movie in my book. If you enjoy sci-fi and fantasy stories check out my website tfam13.com. Watch out for more of my Sweet and Short reviews. I hope you enjoy the movie and the blog! Peace🤙
