Sweet and Short Reviews: Back to the Future (1985)

Welcome to my Sweet and Short Reviews blog! This blog is all about reviewing my favorite movies, music, and whatever I am into lately. Or whatever my beautiful wife or two little daughters are into. I like to keep the reviews sweet and short and not so serious. Hit that follow button WordPress people and I’ll for sure follow you back. I most definitely appreciate you reading this blog. Now sit back, relax, and enjoy the review.

Now, usually when I start these things off I usually say something like, “I’m super pumped about watching this or that”, or something of that nature. I gotta admit I’m a little ashamed I’ve never seen Back to the Future before. I consider myself a movie connoisseur of sorts, and not seeing that classic is definitely no bueno. My wifey brought up the movie, and soon after discovered I had never seen it before. Luckily, it was on Netflix so I finally got to check it out with the family.

Now I’m sure you all know what the film is about, but just in case I’ll throw a trailer at the bottom of the blog to be a good guy. Firstly, I must say this movie is so very dope. I’m an instant fan of the classic time traveling movie. I would definitely recommend giving it a shot. It’s quirky and a good time.

The best part of Back to the Future, for me, is the Doc and Marty duo. Michael J. Fox was absolutely perfect playing Marty! Christopher Lloyd is such a legend and is hilarious as the Looney Doc. If they did a remake I don’t think anyone could play the time traveling Doctor any better. United, the Doc and Marty definitely make an elite duo for all time. There are so many quotable stuff in this movie it’s insane, in a good way though (no worries).

In my book, Back to the Future is indeed a classic and is iconic by far. Feel free to give this review a massive like, and comment what you thought of Back to the Future. Also, gotta come clean here. After I wrote this blog, me and the queen stayed up way to late and watched the other two Back to the Future movies. They were also dope✌️

  1. Always loved this movie and thought that the actual trilogy was one of the few that never lost its way. Okay obvi we have our preferences re the 3 films but when i think of some of the sequels and 3rd and then beyond that, that just totally lost it, this franchise, for me, was one of the most consistent.
